SHARK EGGCASE HUNT POSTPONED!

Aquatic Element Shark Eggcase Hunt in conjunction with the Shark Trust and the Marine Conservation Society has been postponed due to bad weather. We will rearrange another date so watch this space.

The day will start at Littlehampton (meet at East Beach Cafe - click on link for directions) for a briefing and we will start combing the beach for Shark Eggcases. We will break for lunch at 12.30-13.30 and start again for the second afternoon shift until 17.00. We will collect wash and attempt to identify the different type of eggcases which will then be sent off to the Shark Trust so that we can identify what species are found in this area and potential nursery grounds. With this data we can then propose new conservation measures to protect these amazing but threatened animals.
